For this one, we parked on Millard’s Hill in Midsomer Norton (BA3 2XE). This route is brilliant in the warmer months as it’s very open and green. It heads across a few crop fields, but a lot of them may have cows en route. We managed to avoid them all when we walked (May), but they are clearly rotated through the fields so just keep vigilant. We also walked through one field with horses in it at the very start, but they weren’t bothered by us. There are a few stiles, all with plenty of room for dogosaurs, and a few short section of walking along quiet country lanes. I imagine this will be a rather muddy walk in winter.
