Ebbor Gorge is a National Trust site with plenty of footpaths nearby to link onto should you want to extend your walk like we did. Lots of cows round here but at the time we walked (July) we managed to only have to walk through one field with them and they weren’t bothered by us at all. The Gorge itself is worth a visit if you wanted to do a shorter walk as well. There is a car park off of Deerleap in Wells. Our route was 5.5 miles and will probably take you around 2 hours should you choose to give it a go!
