Greenham Common is is great in both winter and summer as it has a lot of gravel paths throughout. It is flat so an easy walk, and both wheelchair and pushchair accessible with a few great bits of water for your dogosaurs to take a dip. Just be aware that in the warmer months, they have had blue green algae before so make sure your dog doesn’t go in if that’s the case. The common also has resident cows and ponies that are allowed to wander throughout. They are all very placid and used to people and their dogs but of course don’t let your dog chase them. All in all this is a great walk. It can get very busy in the summer, but this can be amazing if you have a playful dogosaur as a lot of other owners will walk there to socialise their woofs. There are several car parks for Greenham Common, the largest is next to the control tower, which also has a cafe (though dogs aren’t allowed inside) the postcode is RG19 8BZ.
