Peanut had a difficult start in life, being found tied to a fridge in the street in Panama at just 6 weeks old. Her previous owners were living out there at the time and decided to take her in to try and give her another chance at life. She was extremely ill for a further 6 weeks but as soon as she was better, came back to the UK with them.

Unfortunately, her aggression towards people and dogs got worse as she got older and became too much to handle. This is how she ended up at Dog Trouble (where Becky was working at the time) as a foster dog.

Over the time she spent there, they built an amazing bond as their trust in each other grew. This is when Becky decided that she didn’t want to leave her everyday, so she adopted her and took her home in 2018... and hasn’t looked back since... even though she’s a little rascal at the best of times.

She’s definitely a strong, independent woman-dog! She has a super high prey drive but on the other hand has a great recall and is extremely obedient. But something Becky will always appreciate is how loving she is once she has a relationship with someone and then all she wants to do is curl up next to you. She’s a teddy bear really..!
