Favourite toy: Squeaky toys (but he can’t make them squeak himself!)

Sophie adopted Sabre in 2018, from a charity called SOS in Cyprus. He flew over with a lot of other dogs, and was safely transported to a service station where Sophie collected him from. At the time he was understandably nervous, and when we got home and opened the back door he went into the garden and didn’t want to come back in. As soon as he was offered a plate of chicken though, he reconsidered - he’s a sucker for delicious food, even when he’s worried! Sabre was actually supposed to be Sophie’s dad’s dog, but he immediately formed a bond with Sophie and followed her everywhere (still does), so it became clear that wasn’t going to work and instead he is now number 3 of the Sophie clan. If he trusts you, he is the soppiest dog ever, he gives the best cuddles and will sit on Sophie’s hip like a 3 year old very happily! Sophie doesn’t know a lot about his past, other than he was left abandoned in a crate outside the rescue centre in Cyprus, and was a little underweight when she got him, but he has the best life a dog could ask for now. He loves his long walks and spending time with his family - human and dog! He is the most sociable with other dogs of Sophie’s pack and will often join her for group walks with the other Jurassic Bark dogosaurs, and enjoy playing with his friends. He’s a really gentle soul (unless he’s frightened), and is super calm compared to his terrier brothers.
