I've fancied making my own dog biscuits for a while now, but I'm not much of a baker and all the recipes I found seemed to have tonnes of ingredients that didn't look too healthy for my pack.
I finally found a quick and simple one that I thought I'd try out - with only 4 ingredients and about 30 mins cooking time you can't go wrong - the Jurassic Bark team didn't think they were too bad either!
Here's the recipe...
Ingredients: 340g rice or coconut flour (best to keep away from grain flour as a lot of dogs don't stomach grain well), 1/2 mashed banana, 170g peanut butter (unsweetened and free from xylitol as this is toxic for dogs), 85g unsweetened almond milk
Method: Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, then flour a surface and roll the mixture out and use cookie cutters to get your desired shapes - I went for dinosaurs as they are Jurassic Bark cookies after all! Then pop them in the oven for 20 minutes and boom, a delicious, healthy treat for your dogosaurs.
