This is one of our favourite walks in Berkshire. You follow the river for a lot of the way. There are sometimes sheep in one of the fields, and horses in adjacent fields towards the end, so please make sure dogosaurs are under control if you see them. There are some lush parts for dogs to have a splash in the river, and in the warmer weather this really is a beautiful walk, with lots of wild flowers to admire. You can park at the church (RG7 4TJ) but there aren’t many spaces, so I would avoid going on a Sunday in case they have services in progress.
